Colombian Social Communicator and Journalist with an emphasis on community, government, culture, social media, and public relations, residing in New York City for over 22 years. Since arriving in the city, she has worked in various roles including public relations specialist, event coordinator, media liaison, writer, and social media coordinator. Her experience has endowed her with the skills to turn communications into a strategic and successful tool.
For nine years, she was part of the communications team at the Consulate of Colombia in New York, serving as press chief and director of the Cultural Area, where she coordinated and executed dozens of cultural and community events. She often served as master of ceremonies at official events, including visits from Colombian presidents to the city. Noted for her strong commitment to social aid and participation in social projects, she constantly seeks the welfare of the community and has received recognition from local authorities and community organizations. Currently, she is part of the Univision 41 news team, working as a journalist.
